After years of eligibility, Janet Jackson is at long last set for induction into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame. Billed as one of the top honors an artist can receive in their career, the award will see the 52-year-old further cement herself as one of the greatest acts of all-time. Indisputably. And moments ago, it was announced that Janelle Monae will be on-hand to help immortalize Ms. Jackson into the coveted Hall at the March 29th ceremony. Details below… The eclectic singer will formally introduce Jackson at event, which takes place at the Barclays Center in New York City. Other presenters include Harry Styles for Stevie Nicks, Queen’s Brian May for Def Leppard, Trent Reznor for the Cure, David Byrne for Radiohead, the Bangles’ Susanna Hoffs for the Zombies and John Taylor and Simon Le Bon for Roxy Music. No word yet on whether the diva will be performing, although it tends to be customary for most inductees. One place she will be igniting is Las Vegas, when she kicks of her ‘Metamorphosis’ residency in May. Janet joins a list of legends in the Hall, including brothers The Jacksons (as well as Michael solo), and Madonna.
