America's Camelot was in full early bloom in 1961, the year jazz royalty Edward Kennedy "Duke" Ellington and William "Count" Basie finally sat down for a long-awaited much-anticipated musical summit session. The resultant album, "Together For The First Time! The Count Meets The Duke," proved well worth the wait, with each of the jazz titans providing four numbers from their respective repertoires while bringing their best game to the table. Don Hunstein caught the pair in the studio during the collaborative sessions, capturing their camaraderie and infectious good humor. A very rich history here for all cultures. Candy aka C
