Relatives say the family was using a generator for power
A father and his seven children found dead inside a Maryland home were poisoned by carbon monoxide from a generator they were using because they could not keep up with their electricity bills, relatives and a friend said.
Rodney Todd Sr., 36, and his seven kids, aged 6 to 16, were found by officers in the southern Maryland peninsula town of Princess Anne on Monday, police said.
Todd’s mother and stepfather, Bonnie and Lloyd Edwards, told The Associated Press that a utility firm had cut off his electricity because of an outstanding bill.
“To keep his seven children warm, [Todd] bought a generator,” Lloyd Edwards told the AP. “It went out and the carbon monoxide consumed them.”
This is so sad and troubling they didn't have enough money to pay their bill and now this is the out come of it all. A whole family gone may they all Rest In Gods Arms because his arms never get tired.

Very very sad. Prayers to his parents. I have to wonder if there are agencies to help people with their outstanding utility bills, not sure about other states but here in Los Angeles there are agencies who help with that and food and shelter as well.

Ohhhhhhhh yes the only thing is they need to have the funds and when that runs out so do the poor people who need the help and then they need to see if they qualify SMH. C
