An American tourist from Utah is among the three victims killed in the terror attack in the heart of London, his relatives announced on Thursday.
Kurt Cochran, 54, died when a British-born, ISIS-inspired motorist began the deadly afternoon rampage by barreling down the Westminster Bridge, plowing into several individuals on the walkway, Metro UK reported.
His wife, Melissa Payne Cochran, is among the dozens of wounded. She suffered a broken leg and rib in the horrifying incident.
A relative announced Cochran’s death on Facebook Thursday.
“With a heavy heart I must pass the sad news of our beautiful brother, father, husband, son and friend Kurt Cochran, he could not overcome the injuries he received in the London terror attacks,” Shantell Payne posted to the social media site.
“This pain is so heart wrenching and raw it has rocked our family and all that knew him to its core. We will miss Kurt beyond words. We love you Kurt. RIP.”
Payne wrote that Melissa is hospitalized “with a broken leg, rib and a cut on her head but will recover from her injuries. Sending all the love to her for a quick recovery.”
Cochran and his wife were on a trip traveling through Europe before his life was brutally cut short on the Westminster Bridge.
The attacker — whose identity has not yet been revealed — plowed into people on the famed span before ramming the car into the gates of Parliament, where he fatally stabbed police officer Keith Palmer.
Another officer then shot the knife-wielding assailant.
A third victim identified by Spanish media as Aysha Frade, 43, a British woman of Galician origin, was crossing the Westminster Bridge to pick up her young kids when she was killed.
