Chuy Bravo, Star Of Chelsey Handler's 'Chelsea Lately,' Dead At 63
By Mike Walters Chuy Bravo, the star who is best known as Chelsea Handler's sidekick on her show 'Chelsea Lately' -- has died at the age of 63.
According to reports, the Mexican-American television star died Sunday, and no other information was available at this time.

Entertainment Tonight was the first to report the news of Chuy's death.
The Mexican-American actor, best known as Chelsea Handler's sidekick on Chelsea Lately, has died, ET confirms. He was 63. No other details are available at this time.
Chelsea Lately Pays Tribute To Her Sidekick
Instagram Chuy's death came just a week after Chelsea paid tribute to her longtime sidekick. Handler posted a message on Instagram in honor of his 63rd birthday.
"Happy Birthday to my OG Nugget @chuybravo. I love this picture because--not only does it look like Chuy just launched out of my peekachu, I look like a member of ZZ Top. Happy birthday Chuy, and thank you for 8 years of heavy blank," she posted.
In 2012, Chuy revealed that he survived prostate cancer, which he explained early treatment was the key to surviving after it was diagnosed. Chuy, who has said he was recovering alcoholic was once nearly homeless in his life. "I have been through a lot in my life... but I've overcome my struggles and now I'm finally living my life," he said in an interview.
Bravo launched the Little Nugget Foundation in his hometown of Tangancicuaro, Mexico to help provide food and clothing for those struggling with the disease. He also started the Bravo Academy in Los Angeles, which focuses on the Latin community in Hollywood, and people working for careers in the entertainment community.
