Former Arkansas Gov. and possible presidential candiate Mike Huckabee has accused President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle, of double standards in parenting.
In an interview published on Tuesday Huckabee says that the first family shelters its daughters from some things but allows them to listen to music that contains explicit lyrics.
While promoting his new book, the former Baptist pastor told People magazine, “I don't understand how on one hand they can be such doting parents and so careful about the intake of everything - how much broccoli they eat and where they go to school... and yet they don't see anything that might not be suitable” in Beyoncé's lyrics.
He also said Beyoncé's choreography is “best left for the privacy of her bedroom.” ha
What do you ladies think about this? I don't have any teenage girls who are listening to Beyoncé's music or watching her videos so I don't know how I feel about this. I do know that a lot of music today is too explicit and I don't like it. I'm not a big fan of Beyoncé so I don't know much about her music. I only hear what's played on the radio and I don't think the station I listen even plays music with explicit lyrics. She wears few clothing when performing and shakes her booty a lot but so do a lot of female artists.
It's very touchy when discussing someone on how they are raising their own children what they wear how they should talk the whole nine yards. What I see here is a man from the right spinning the wheel towards the Obamas and using the Beyoncé tone to use it against them I dare them listening to her type of music how could they anything that will make others feel like the Obamas wear two faces yes you could say Beyoncé music is not for the teenagers but maybe they could pick the songs over to see which ones a more appropriate not all of her songs were dirty some have girl power and being proud of who you are. So our first family could be taking that course of action. Mike Huckabee and all his kind could use their minds too be more open he also said Jayz pimps out his wife he's saying what most think when not fully understanding the way people of color are where we came from and where we're going.
