You may remember her as a MTV VJ or the host of “Teen Summit” on BET — You may even remember Ananda Lewis from her own self-titled talk show and her time as a correspondent on “The Insider”. But gone are the days of Lewis sharing entertainment news … now she’s all about swinging a hammer and helping homeowners.
Yep, that’s right, Ananda has traded in celebrity interviews for home renovations and is bringing her talents to HGTV. And no, she’s not just hosting the show, she’s a real deal carpenter and is getting down to the nitty gritty!
The show is called “Change MY Space” and the network says this about the first episode: “A California couple with a young son calls on carpenter Ananda Lewis to renovate their cramped kitchen and living room. Ananda tears down walls, revamps a dated skylight and adds hidden storage for toys to create a fun, modern living space.” Get it, girl!
“Change My Space” premieres on HGTV, February 15th at 1/2c.......You can see it now if you missed it on Thursday Nights.
