‘Disgusted’ Staffers Urge ABC to Fire T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach for Being Homewreckers
Disney, which owns ABC network, will not fire married co-anchors T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach for cheating on their spouses.
Staffers expressed their “disgust” at Disney for not terminating the star-crossed lovers who violated the company’s values and morals.
On Wednesday it was published a dozens of photos that showed the pair holding hands, and enjoying beers at a NYC pub before heading upstate for a weekend getaway.
Robach’s husband, actor Andrew Shue, 55, deleted his cheating wife’s photos from his Instagram page this week.
Holmes’s wife, 44-year-old attorney Marilee Fiebig did not respond to a blogger’s request for comment on social media. They have been married since 2010 and share a 9-year-old daughter named Sabine.
Staffers called for Disney CEO Bob Iger to “intervene” and terminate the co-anchors.
“Disney needs to step in and take action here. We’re a family friendly network and these two are not displaying [our] values.”
The staffer added: “Bob Iger needs to intervene and terminate them both. He should also be asking Kim Godwin [President of ABC News] how this was allowed to happen on her watch.”
Kim Godwin reportedly said she had no knowledge of their adulterous affair in the workplace. Apparently, gossip doesn’t travel far at ABC or Disney.
Staffers predict this will backfire on ABC, as family-oriented advertisers pull their ads from the show.
Adultery is a violation of the seventh commandment in the Bible: “Thou shalt not commit adultery” Exodus 20:40 (King James Version).
Holmes, 45, and Robach carried on their adulterous affair for at least a year — all while attending events and smiling in red carpet photos with their spouses.
Robach, 49, filed for divorce from her husband recently, but Holmes and his wife are still married.
Holmes hosted the third hour of ABC’s Good Morning America alone on Wednesday morning. But the lovebirds were together on the set on Thursday. Viewers noted Robach seemed “nervous” on the set.
