KeKe Palmer’s Ex, Darius Jackson Ordered to Surrender His Handgun to Police
Keke Palmer’s ex-boyfriend Darius Jackson was ordered to turn over his handgun to police after a judge granted Keke a restraining order on Friday.
The judge also granted Keke temporary sole custody of their 8-month-old son, Leodis, with no visitation for Darius.
In her petition for the restraining order, Keke told the judge she feared for her life because Darius owns a handgun. She said he had previously threatened to “kill himself with a gun if I left him.”
Darius has 24 hours to turn over his weapons to local law enforcement after being served with the restraining order.
The judge granted Keke’s request for a restraining order after viewing images from security footage that shows Darius hitting and choking Keke in her home.
Keke, 30, said Darius, 29, stole her cell phone after they argued over him taking their son to a football game.
She said Darius barged into her bedroom just before 11 a.m. on November 5, and demanded to see their son.
In her petition, Keke said Darius punched and choked her when she wouldn’t give him her cell phone. He finally wrestled the phone away from her and left the house with it.
Darius was ordered to stay 100 yards away from Keke and their son, as well as any nannies or the infant’s daycare.
According to People.com, a hearing has been set for December 5 where Keke can request a permanent restraining order.
Darius seemed to respond to Keke filing for a restraining order in a Twitter/X post on Thursday, writing, “I love you, son. See you soon.”
If anyone is being abused please tell someone or if you are being abused it's important to tell someone you trust. NO ONE deserves this kind of attack from a man or a woman.
