My brain is tired and i'm going to bed, so i'll just say Maxwell 2014 concerts on YouTube has him in St. Lucia a week ago and footage as late as 3 to 4 months ago. Check him out ladies and gentlemen. I'm gonna have to figure out how to post a link later. Enjoy y'all, good njght.

Um the sound on one of these Youtube videos was really bad to hear but from what I could hear his voice OMG has lost it's charm the mellow sound I once heard isn't there sure overtime a lot of singers as they age lose that spark but Maxwell lost his from smoking and partying all the time and that saddens me. The lord above blessed that then young man with a voice that I had never heard before he just let it go I noticed when he couldn't get to the high notes he let the crowd join in so not to look like he couldn't still kick that up a notch. He can still sing don't get me wrong he can still melt your heart but not like the old days his voice was like butter mix with honey. Thanks for sharing Bev I will add one more thing before I go when he walked out on stage from the beginnig I nearly lost my mind LOL. Candy

I had to get it together also, if you're speaking of St . Lucia. And i thought i was hearing wrong, but you heard what i heard, bad notes and a strained voice. As i said before, he can get on stage and do his little dancing around, smile and and speak but the female fans are into his good looks, most of them anyway. But we who are thirsty for good music are disappointed when the sound is not there anymore. I love him, but i'm not gonna purchase a ticket this time. I'm hoping to do the cruise next year. And you're welcome C.

I haven't seen the concert links as yet but I question if Maxwell has the same passion for music when he first started out? Sometime recently I read somewhere he made a comment he had to go on tour because "he's been forced to". Now I don't know if that was reference to the fact that the majority of his fans had been asking him about the part 2 of a so called trilogy he's been promising for 5 years or his record label has been putting pressure on him to finally release this part 2 Summers Trilogy. In regards to his voice - well I'm sorry to say he has to learn the hard way due to all the smoking and partying he's been working on instead of Summers. There are many singers who are much older than Maxwell like Smokey Robinson and Charlie Wilson who can out sing these young cats and put them to shame. So for Maxwell there should not be any excuses. He just has to learn the hard lessons of all his "bad habits."

A record lable will want their arist to get his or her butt out there because they don't want them to be lost in the sauce with all the other artists out there with all of them time is money. You must keep your fan base happy or we're GONEEEEEEEEEEE !! Maxwell is making bad choices at his late age in life and it just might be costing his whole career. Like Bev I want good singing not just another pretty face the whole package isn't a bad thing but I wanted his voice that was what I LOVED about Maxwell that cat could sing so mellow I only hope he'll get it right before he'll need another throat operation.

I can't help but feel that because he's getting older now, he wants to just kick back and live life and enjoy the fruits of his labor. He told Tavis Smiley that in his last interview with him, he didn't want his life to be all about making albums, he needed to get back to living life.
