Question, is Maxwell Channeling Someone?

Ladies, this weeked i was viewing a clip of Marvin Gaye singing the national anthem, and i couldn't help but wonder, why is M still wearing his beard, and is it because of him wanting to change his image since he's in his forties now. But i was so into this clip that i plkayed it several times, and i saw MAXWELL. He is looking more like Marvin now with the facial hair and with aging. So, what do you all think, what's your opinion on this? I'm just waiting for the day that Max is ask to do the national anthem, i just know he'll knock the ball out of the park too.

I think he's finding his soul he does have respect for Marvin so I think he see's their could be a match there. As he grows more and more in his music his Marvin Gaye comes out in style and in moves.
