Chris Bosh‘s hometeam is officially complete.
The Miami Heat star welcomed twin sons, Phoenix Avery and Lennox Noel, with his wife Adrienne on Tuesday, March 15, a source close to the family tells PEOPLE exclusively.
“I’m proud to announce the arrival of my new baby boys! I couldn’t be happier as a father and husband. My wife @mrsadriennebosh has been great through this whole process,” the proud dad wrote alongside a black-and-white Instagram of his new monogrammed bracelets featuring his sons’ names.
Bosh, 31, and Adrienne are already parents to Trinity, 6 — his daughter from a previous relationship — Jackson, 3, and Dylan Skye, 2.
The news that the couple were expecting twins came as a happy surprise for the family, who had hoped to add two more children to their brood.
“Chris and I are so excited about having twins,” the mom-to-be told PEOPLE in October. “The Bosh side of the family has two sets of twins, so they are overjoyed at the news of having another generation of them.”
Despite her full plate — Adrienne opened her store, Sparkle & Shine Darling, in Miami Beach during her pregnancy — the busy mom was excited to have the full house she and Bosh had dreamed about while dating.
“I love having lots of children around, and a big family is wonderful for holidays and other traditions,” she told PEOPLE in November.
“Chris is a great father. He helps me dress the kids, feed them and put them to bed when he is not sword-fighting with our son! I would not be having more kids with him if he weren’t so good.”
In December, the couple shared a black-and-white photo card on social media, announcing the sex of their babies on the way.
“With great joy We will Welcome Twin Boys in the New Year-2016!” Adrienne wrote.

Newlyweds with a newborn!
Three weeks after tying the knot, NE-YO and his bride Crystal Renay Smith welcomed their first child together on Tuesday, March 15, the new mom confirmed via social media.
“Prince Shaffer Chimere Smith Jr has arrived! 6lbs 8oz, 19 inches,” she captioned an Instagram photo of herself holding her newborns hand.
“It was the scariest delivery ever and I ended up getting a emergency c-section cause of complications but with the help of my amazing doctor Sheryl Ross and my super calming husband NE-YO I was able to get through it all and come out with best reward in the world… SJ!!!!! #BestDayOfMyLife”
Congrats 2 both families
