The Multi-Grammy Winner has Officially Fulfilled Her Recording Contract with Sony Music
Alicia Keys is the latest former major signed artist to go independent. The 15-time Grammy Award-winning artist recently completed her contract with Sony Music. Alicia started her career 20 years when she signed to J Records; a division of Sony. With the release of her latest album KEYS, she has fulfilled her obligations to the label, and has decided to move forward as an independent music artist. She told Genius via Twitter, “I’m so excited because KEYS is actually the last album I have on a major label.”
