Jonathan Majors dropped by management, PR teams, and Marvel Studios
Jonathan Majors has parted ways with his management and public relations teams.
According to Variety, Majors’ talent manager Entertainment 360 dropped him following reports that he abuses women.
The Creed III star was also dropped by his former public relations manager, the Lede Company.
Additionally, fashion house Valentino “mutually agreed” with the disgraced actor that he will not attend this year’s Met Gala as their guest.
Majors’ stunning fall from grace began after he was arrested last month for assault and harassment during a domestic dispute with his 30-year-old live-in girlfriend.
The victim called 911 on March 25 and accused Majors of strangling her and striking her in the face in a taxi. She was treated at a NYC hospital for “minor injuries to her head and neck,” and released.
Majors’ attorney initially denied an assault occurred. Lawyer Priya Chaudhry said in a statement on March 27 that the victim recanted her accusations.
Chaudhry released text messages sent from the woman to Majors, but the move backfired on Majors. The texts supported the woman’s original accusations. She seems to be a domestic violence victim trying to protect her abuser.
“Please let me know you’re okay when you get this. They assured me that you won’t be charged. They said they had to arrest you as protocol when they saw the injuries on me and they knew we had a fight. I’m so angry that they did. And I’m sorry you’re in this position. Will make sure nothing happens about this. I told them it was my fault for trying to grab your phone. I only just got out of hospital. Just call me when you’re out. I love you.”
The news comes a week after Marvel Studios reportedly recast Majors’ multiverse character Kang the Conqueror in future Marvel projects including Avengers: The Kang Dynasty in the summer of 2025 and Avengers: Secret Wars in 2026.
