Biopic is scheduled for a 2015 premiere
Whitney Houston's “Waiting to Exhale” costar Angela Bassett will direct a Lifetime movie about the singer, the network said Thursday.
The movie, scheduled for a 2015 premiere, will chronicle the headline-making relationship between Houston and Bobby Brown — from the time they first met at the very height of their celebrity, to their courtship and tumultuous marriage. Throughout it all, difficulties followed the superstar couple while they dealt with the overwhelming rewards and consequences of the fame and fortune created by Whitney's meteoric rise that would soon overshadow them both.
Though this will mark Bassett's directorial debut, she has previous experience with Lifetime, having co-starred with Mary J. Blige on the Lifetime movie “Betty & Coretta” last year.

Gonna be interesting to see, because all of Whitneys' fans should already know about her life and her career.

Gonna be interesting to see, because all of Whitneys' fans should already know about her life and her career. That's very ture but you know how they might give more to the story when acted out like Michael's life there are lines there that should be made one day not that VH1 mess with Flex but a real story with meat to it. After 5 years I am shocked nothing has been done on his life yet when Elvis died they must have made 10 movies back to back on him and Kurt Russell was the best till this very day LOL. C
