1973 - March 31: Disc Magazine Interview:
On a then recent earthquake:......Back in the 70's of course
“I was in bed [yesterday, when an earthquake struck] and I woke up and forgot to stand under the door. You’ve heard that, haven’t you? The door is the strongest part of the house, and if you’ve ever seen a house burn down – the door is the only thing left standing. The door was moving like a massage table! I wasn’t really scared though. Two years ago, it was worse! But where we were living then it wasn’t too bad; we were in Beverley Hills. This one happened in the morning and went away, but last time, trembles kept coming back all day. It struck a hospital, some people died in it and people were sick in the street. This time, hardly anyone was killed, but it scared a whole lot of people.”

I was born and raised in California, and never lived anywhere else other than my hometown of San Francisco, and now Los Angeles. I will never get used to earthquakes, i don't think anyone would.

You said it let me see it was about maybe 3 years ago NYC was hit with a earthquake and it wasn't even funny I was like what in the world is going on here. Scared to death we've never felt one like that it was felt along side the whole east coast your right about it Bev you can never get use to those shakes no way.
