Lionel Richie may be the adoptive parent of daughter Nicole Richie and father of biological daughter Sofia Richie, but he may also be the biological father of reality star Khloe Kardashian, according to an explosive report by In Touch Weekly via RadarOnline.com.
Rumors began swirling after a source allegedly told the magazine that Kardashian’s mom Kris Jenner had a “steamy fling” to the 80s music heartthrob. Side-by-side images of Kardashian, 30, and Sofia, 16, show what some say is an obvious resemblance.
The paternity of Kardashian has remained in question ever since Jenner, 58, confessed in a tell-all book that she had an affair during her marriage to the now deceased attorney Robert Kardashian Sr. Jenner even convinced her other children--Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian and Rob Kardashian Jr.--to take DNA tests to be compared to Khloe’s DNA in order to determine whether or not Rob Sr. was indeed her father.
However, as seen on their reality show “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” Khloe decided not to take the DNA test.
"If you f---ed other people during the same time and you do not know, go on Maury [Povich Show]." she told her mother.
Previously, O.J. Simpson was rumored to be Kardashian’s father, as he and former wife Nicole Simpson were good friends with Jenner and her former husband, who represented O.J. during his murder trial.
Richie, 65, sources said, often bragged about his sexual affair with Jenner back in the day, and was allegedly “on the outs with his wife” at the time. The source added that “everyone was sleeping around with everyone else back then, and Kris was hot in those days.”
More interesting, Richie’s daughter Sofia is close friends with Kardashian’s little sister Kylie Jenner. Richie is also said to already be “like family” to Kardashian, as the two families have been close for decades.
“She’s not going to go there and ask him if he’s her dad, [but] she does think he’s a great father,” the source said. “If Lionel is her dad, she’d probably be okay with it.”
