New York-based singer Peggi Blu signed to MCA Records in the late 70's where she worked with producers including Jerry Ragovoy on her debut album 'I Got Love' in 1980.
Peggi Blu won the top female vocalist award on the TV show Star Search in 1986, resulting in a contract with Capitol Records.
Peggi, subsequently, returned for a second album in 1987, entitled 'Blu Blowin' which included the popular tune 'Tender Moments'.
Featured on the set were 'Once Had Your Love' (originally written and recorded by the Isley Brothers), 'Over & Over', 'Two Can Play At That Game' and a Bert Robinson duet entitled 'All The Way With You' produced by Nick Martinelli.
Also featured on the album were the artistic talents of Ashford and Simpson.
In 2002, Peggi returned to the studio's and released 'Livin' On Love', an album released on the UK based Expansion Records.
Over the years she has worked as a session singer with artists including Lou Courtney, Quincy Jones ('The Places You Find Love'), The Manhattans and Stephanie Mills.
