 We hear the samething over and over again about Maxwell don't you think it's about time time too put your spin on Maxwell about why he is who he is but do it in a different way. It's now 2015 he's about to come back with his new CD we all been longing for but how would you read his return without sounding the same old way. I wonder if you all will give this a try you might surprise yourself : ) C________ps you can be honset about how you feel with more new insight. |

it appears he's just doing his "thing" right now - whatever that maybe? is a mystery to us LOL i just hope he's good/healthy/and being honest with himself...musically meh we just have to wait.

He's stated in numerous interviews that he doesn't like to rush things when it comes to his craft, and that his creative juices has to flow naturally and at it's own pace. He used the term conveyor belt, describing the type of business he doesn't want. In my opinion, i think he's financially comfortable with his life right now and he's in no real rush to get any more projects out. He's been living his life, and that seems to be most important to him right now, especially since he's getting older. This is just my  opinion. |

I think he should stop sending out the teasers. It makes me think he's not being serious about his music. When and if he ever releases the CD, I will listen before I buy. I have all his CDs but this is not one I'm going to buy just because it's Maxwell.

He's been sendin out "teasers" for years now and it certainly does appear he's not that serious, at least not anymore. Frankly, i think he's got some real deep issues he's probably dealing with right now, and putting ou the next cd is not on his list of priorities. |

Well ladies the real reason was too put your review of Maxwell the man he is now I think this topic got lost. But it's okay 
Updated Maxwell
Maxwell is handsome and yes talented but he's more now then he once was he's open about his body and his voice. Not always nice with fans he's been known too tell some off when he felt like it sure it's his right but he didn't have to say it so loudly. Over the years he's made it known how he feels about his work he doesn't play but he's been fooling around a lot with his life he's enjoying it more not taking himself to seriously that's a good thing I guess but it seems to be taking him away from his Muse. He's now 41 more older now and he might be grooming himself for something like we've never heard before sometimes his music that he has shared seem new yet it seems like we've heard it before like the very easy slow feel he has for his sound not a fan of his lazy tone I do want more upbeat tunes from Maxwell that would be more fresher. Too me he needs more flavor on his new cd Summers I haven't heard all of his music but what I've heard I just want more funky laid down tunes. The man behind the suits is now bringing the style of old school to the stage like a modern day Sam Cooke no more jeans and a t shirts or a wool hat he's moved on from that years ago we do like the new suited Maxwell and the short hair look had to grow on a lot of us but that too is his new look and it comes with hopefully a nice new growth in his up and coming cd. Remember when we didn't even know his real name that to is history he's come along way lets hope he will keep his word more about what he's about after all he's dealing with a mature crowd of Women and yes some Men all we ask is for the timing of his next project not lies just a word of truth.....So bring it Maxwell we're still waiting.
