Well I watched another real bad award show The Soul Train Awards what a bore first let me get to Wendy Williams she was a hot mess she was horrible as a host you hardly saw her. After the flop she did on the Aaliyah story by the way I didn't mine it to much but she got trashed for it and now her hosting skills SMH Wendy better stick to her talk show for now because she's trying to step out the box and so far she's not cutting it. Now back to that mess on the award show didn't like Chris Brown nor Tamar that woman can't sing live all that well it looks like she's trying to be her sister Toni and Beyonce. The show was dry no famous people were in the seats of course there were bad up and coming singers with NO TALENT. Let me think who else stunk well I didn't think Jodeci did all that well they seem bored and it lack a lot of passion too me anyway. The Ladies Night remix ladies Lil Kim, Da Brat, Missy Elliot and Total a bad background screen of the late Lisa Left Eye Lopes was awful it was shaky their performance well it was ok not great but ok. New singers were on hand who sing Am I Wrong their names are Nico & Vinz the tune is catchy they were also not to bad. I just didn't like the show sometimes Soul Train might be able to pull it out but not this time. If any of you missed this one you didn't miss much. The Kool In The Gang were honored and when you heard their music you wanted to get out your seat and boogie. They didn't perform but the only thing that was tight was the band on the show they killed it. Well let me stop here you all can give what you thought it's all about sharing and enjoying the good and the bad in how we see things.

You know, i really tried to hang in there but i switched channels in the middle of Jodeci. As for Wendy, i was wondering the same thing, where's the host. She really pumped up this "hosting The Soul Train Awards" for about a couple of months, i'll just record ONLY if someone good is scheduled to perform and i will fast forward to the segment i want, otherwise i will not be sitting in on award shows.

OMG Miss C.....did we watch the same show??? I thought this show was on target.... the energy was amazing. I loved it and watched it all the way through which is something I don't usually do. As far as no famous people being in the audience....I feel that a lot of our so-called famous entertainers have forgotten where they came from. Because of Soul Train a lot of them are where they are today so forget them for not being there. And I'm sure some had other commitments. Wendy Williams was invisible for most of the show but I didn't miss her. I loved Jodeci, Stephanie Mills (she still has that voice), Doug E Fresh, KEM (I love me some Kem), Ledisi (wish I could have seen more of her), Kool & the Gang (a REAL band who performed REAL music), and the Ladies Night performance with the girls. They all had me rocking. What makes me know that I'm not with the music of the day is that some of the artists that performed I wasn't familiar with....like those two guys from Norway(?) but they were still good. And I didn't know not one of the artists who were nominated for best new artists. But for me it was definitely a thumbs up.

Been researching the duo Nico and Vinz from Norway and finding out that they had a hit this summer that I never heard. I'm liking these guys and their music which to me has a reggae, African, r&b flavor. They were all over the tv this year on all my talk shows and I never saw them once. Love their energy!!
