What is it about the Black Love in the 70's the sister held it down for her man and the soul brother was there when she needed him. The male was stronger then he didn't let anyone tell him what he couldn't do he kept it real. The sister was holding down the home she worked but was an on hand mother teaching the truth so her kids would grow up strong in a hard world. She kept herself proud she kept her hair in a afro she wore only light makeup her skin was shining she was the baby oil women she proud to be. They loved hard no matter how hard it got if her man got smart with her she could hold her own and he the same. Yes that black love was tight back in the day. Butch Tavares and Lola Falana had a love for the world to see he was from the family group Tavares and she a famous actress in the day of the black 70's love. Angela Davis was a freedom fighter in the 60's and 70's but her love life was never known but she was in love with George Jackson. These 2 were fighters for the problem Blacks faced and still till this day are dealing with. He died young he was in his late 20's. Whether or not it's love from showbiz or love from being activist it all plays in the hard times of that black love. C
