Hey family if you're a fan of Tarji P. Henson and Terrance Howard, their new series pilot premiers tonight on Fox 11, after the season premier of American Idol. I love these two, they have great chemistry on the screen and they're good friends too. I'm definitely going to be taping the show. Just thought i'd share with you all.  |

Thanks Bev. Don't know how I missed this one (Empire)....was there any promotion for the show? Will definitely be tuning in to see this. As far as AI goes, I always start off watching but usually stop 1/2 way through after my favorites are eliminated. And now that "Dog" is gone I know things won't be the same for me.
P.S. My cuz just posted on FB that Empire is a continuation of Hustle & Flow!! Got to check with her to see what that means. |

Well I did mention it here at this site Marian glad Bev brought it up and I was watching Little Women Of LA that was on the same time as Empire but I was checking it out while flipping the channels and from what I caught it looks like a winner. Love these 2 actors and hoping it did good in the ratings.

Did you get a chance to watch it Bev? I liked it a lot and plan on watching it......already set my DVR for upcoming episodes. Great Lee Daniels creation. I also get what my cuz meant about Hustle & Flow.

I'm sorry for the late reply marian, yes i watched it and i have it programed to my dvr as a series. Genius of Lee Daniels to do a hit series for the small screen, Taraji and Terrance are the best and there are many other famous faces popping up in this show. I love it! |

FYI.......There was a preview of the musical drama on this past weekend but I missed it. It's called Inside Empire and includes interviews with the cast, crew and Lee Daniels. I searched and found that it's going to be repeated on FOX this coming Saturday at 5:30 pm CST. |
