Well I watched last night showing of The Whitney Houston Story I will first address Bobby's role he was played as Mr. innocent through out the movie now I know Mr. Brown might have had his share of problems in his life but he didn't have much of that brought out in the movie he was not into drugs right away as Whitney was he was more into being a father to his kids he had before Bobbie Khristina was born he only wanted the best for Whitney but you know he was a bad boy through and through and still has his issues he voiced his thoughts after the movie was shown he's very bloated looking that can come from a lot of drinking he seems sober but with Bobby you never can tell I do know he had to cancel a lot of shows when he tours with New Edition the man claims he wasn't the one who started her down that path to narcotics he claims she was hooked when he witnessed her using while on their honeymoon. He felt his ex mother in law didn't dislike him but no she didn't take to kindly to Whitney marrying him ok mostly Bobby can lie and lie he does. Whitney's fans are mad at the way he was played in the movie and from what I could see he was toned down some.
Half of his mug shots.
Now we go to poor Whitney Houston I said poor Whitney because she just couldn't get her act together and be blessed to have had such a beautiful voice and realize that. She was a user and in the end it killed her she started losing her voice just by using drugs that is so sad she had her demons but couldn't get God to let it go. Whitney was brought up in the church she knew the difference but something was clearly missing something was causing her to use her demons wouldn't let her stop. She did try rehab but only did it for 5 days she felt like some users do hey I got this but no it has you and the user never sees that till sometimes it's to late. In the movie model and actress YaYa wasn't all that good as Whitney she didn't do it for me at all she wasn't as sassy as Whitney she seem disconnected too me. I didn't think Angela gave the story a story at times Whitney's part got lost while Bobby's role was the one you watched his friend got shot right in front of him his problems with his career but Whitney's role didn't do much she sang she became a mother but nothing was brought out on the whys why was she on drugs what was the reason for her pain that wasn't address. Angela didn't have Whitney's family blessing on the TV film and they were closed minded about how they wanted or didn't want to except her drug use so she was playing it by ear. I will say one thing the love story was that Whitney and Bobby played hard and loved hard but being in the same mind couldn't pull them out of the dust. The TV story about Whitney's life wasn't brought out well was it another Aaliyah well lets just say Lifetime can't do real life stories so maybe they should rethink about doing these types of storylines. It wasn't as bad but it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. But the one thing I will say is that somebody better give Deborah Cox a record deal this lady gave life to Whitney's voice for the movie if you closed your eyes you would have thought Whitney did all the music she was amazing and she held that together for YaYa's singing to come to real. So kudos for Miss Cox......
If anyone missed this story and you would like to see it for your own self then it will repeat tonight at 10:PM ET on Lifetime.
