As an African American woman I was blessed to have the kind of hair that when wet it goes curly but I have done relaxers but as I get older I do try to stir away from the chemicals like coloring my hair to often. I'm not going gray can to that yet not for me I have to add the color just not as often as I once did. So with that said I am noticing more and more women of color going either natural or cutting their hair shorter losing those wigs like the lace fronts and weaving it's making them bald and it's harming the natural hair they have left. I never did the wigs or weaving but I have since cut my hair and I LOVE THE FREEDOM of just letting it go more comfortable for me and my lifestyle.
Are any of you here letting go of the wigs and weaving of the hair and going either more natural or shorter ?
This is your Fashion Hair Question topic.

i've chosen the more natural look - i had to cut my hair short to get rid of the heat damage (i was heavy into the flat and curling irons) it's fun and i don't fuss over my hair as much - i just let it do it's thing (freestyle) - what i do do (LOL) is wash and deep condition once a week (i bought this hair steamer from amazon - freggin awesome) and sleep on satin pillows now and that's about all. AND NOW that i've recently discovered the whole hair shadowing method(s) it's going to be even more fun.

I never tried curly hair and I think it doesn't work for me. Anyway love short hair and I love that short hair in the second pic.
