Now here's the rest of the story :
Hip hop magnate Sean Combs was released from a UCLA campus jail late Monday night after posting $160,000 bail, Yahoo Music reports.
The 45-year-old father-of-5 was arrested on Monday and charged with aggravated assault after he grabbed a heavy kettlebell weight and took a swing at UCLA strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi during a heated argument.
Alosi, who was on his cell phone, asked Combs to wait one minute. But Combs became enraged and allegedly swung the kettlebell. Even though he missed his target, a source told TMZ.com that Alosi could have been killed.
Combs was reportedly angry at the way Alosi spoke to his eldest son, Justin Combs, 21, during team practice on Monday. Justin is a redshirt junior defensive back who plays for the UCLA Bruins football team. His redshirt status means Justin is clear to practice with the team but he won’t play this season.
College athletes are given redshirt status for a variety of reasons. Usually an athlete is redshirted because he is academically ineligible and needs an extra year to get his grades up to par. Another reason could be Justin was redshirted because he can’t pull his weight on the field and he was given an extra year of eligibility to bulk up in the weight room.
Justin, who is very small for his position, has only played in a handful of games in his three years at UCLA.
He is constantly taunted on social media for his small stature.
“If size mattered, the lion wouldn’t be king of the jungle,” Justin wrote in a recent post on his Instagram page.

Justin’s limited playing time is a constant source of frustration for Combs, a narcissist who lives vicariously through his children. Failure is never an option for Combs.
Sources say Combs begged UCLA for a football scholarship for Justin because he didn’t want his son to be a lowly walk on player. Combs saw the Bruins as a springboard for Justin to jump to the NFL. But sadly those dreams are crushed.
Rapper Snoop Dogg‘s 18-year-old son Cordell Broadus, a talented 6′-3″ wide receiver, signed with the Bruins this year. Broadus is expected to start for UCLA this upcoming season — while Justin rides the bench.
UCLA Bruins head football Coach Jim Mora thanked his staff and the University of California Police Department for the professional manner in which they handled the incident.
“This is an unfortunate incident for all parties involved,” Mora said in a statement. “While UCPD continues to review this matter, we will let the legal process run its course and refrain from further comment at this time.”
