BOY DO I FEEL DIRTY WHEN I READ ABOUT HIM NOW.
More damaging information about Bill Cosby surfaced Saturday with the publication of previously undisclosed testimony in which the actor himself describes how he took sexual advantage of young women.
In stunning detail, the fallen 78-year-old television icon describes how he used his fame, drugs, and manipulation to ensnare women to satisfy his sexual whims, according to The New York Times.
Sometimes he would offer himself as a confidant, consoling a young woman whose parent was dying of cancer. Other times he lured young women into his hotel room and still other times he offered himself up as a mentor, the report says. All the while Cosby said he hid philandering from his wife, Camille, who has adamantly and loudly stood by her husband's side since the scandal erupted.
Cosby's account of his behavior was contained in testimony given over four days of questioning 10 years ago at a Philadelphia hotel. He was defending himself in a deposition for a lawsuit filed by Andrea Constand, who worked at Temple in Philadelphia, and accused him of drugging and molesting her, the report says.
The report by The New York Times comes weeks after another report quoted Cosby from the same deposition acknowledging that he used sedatives as part of his sexcapades. He also revealed that he paid hush money to Constand and another whom he met in 1976.
In one telling passage of the deposition, Cosby describes in part why he viewed sex with Constand as consensual: "I walk her out. She does not look angry. She does not say to me, don’t ever do that again. She doesn’t walk out with an attitude of a huff, because I think that I’m a pretty decent reader of people and their emotions in these romantic sexual things, whatever you want to call them."
