Tyrese Gibson is moving fast, not furious, on to his next venture. He, along with Rev Run will continue their tag team success following their joint "Manology" book. The two titans have joined forces and in 2016 will be hitting the silver screen for a 1-hour, 8-episode talk show that will be featured on the OWN Network.
Today Tyrese posted to his Instagram account that they'd just started production on the relationship chat show, It's Not You It's Men where the two wise men will give advice in front of a live audience for this prime-time show that will also feature celebrity guests. Reportedly, social media platforms will be used to galvanize America for their juiciest questions on love, sex, marriage, and anything in between.
CBS Television Distribution in association with Voltron Pictures and Simmons/Lehman Productions. This marks CBS' first collaboration with the magical-move-making OWN for an original production.
“When Rev Run, Tyrese and CBS came to us with the idea of a primetime series we were energized by the chance to bring OWN viewers something fresh and entertainingly real in the ‘love space,’” said Sheri Salata, president of OWN. “We can’t wait to turn them loose — enlightening us all about what makes men tick.”
Back in September Tyrese captioned on Instagram under a selfie he'd taken with Oprah:
"I wanna remind you ALL that God has revealed to me that THIS is the SEASON for GOOD PEOPLE TO WIN! Stay encouraged God knows your heart it’s OUR season!!”
Well, he must be a good person, because he, along with Rev Run are certainly winning! Seems like 2016 just got a lot more interesting!
And Tyrese just got his daughter for Christmas her own Island that's right her own little Island.....C
