We have great news for all you America’s Next Top Model fans. Though the show was recently canceled by the CW, it may return for future seasons thanks to cable network VH1.
According to online reports, the once popular modeling competition may be revamped for a younger and more social media savvy audience. VH1 will reportedly bring in a really big reality star as host, along with a revolving door of judges from both the fashion and music industry.
After twelve seasons and twenty-two cycles, the CW canceled the show last year, reportedly due to production costs. However, with Tyra and most of the other big name judges not returning, VH1 felt they could afford to bring the show back and make it a hit by putting their own unique spin on things.
The final season of America’s Next Top Model averaged 1.2 million viewers and a 0.4 in demo. It’s final winner, Nyle DiMarco, recently appeared in his first magazine spread.
