Solange just took a seat at an exclusive table.

The younger Knowles recently captured her first No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with her third studio album, A Seat at the Table, a comprehensive sonic journey through the black experience. And in a surprise flourish, Solange's painstaking blend of funk, R&B and soul beat out Bon Iver's highly-anticipated 22, A Million, which took the No. 2 spot.

However, that coup didn’t just represent a victory for Solange. Since Beyoncé bowed out at No. 1 earlier this year with her critically received Lemonade, Solange's feat also makes the Knowles sisters one of two pairs of solo siblings to have No. 1s on the Billboard 200 in the same calendar year. Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson previously set this benchmark in 2001, with Invincible and All For You, respectively.
